2019 has been a different experience for me compared to years past. I wound up fishing a couple new trails out of the Thayer's Marine Triton 20TRX Patriot Powered By Mercury 250 HP Four Stroke. The first trail that I fished in 2019 was planned as part of my new Triton / Mercury purchase from Richie at Thayer's Marine. All of my Bass Pro Shops ABA OPEN SERIES entry fees were paid in full as part of the ABA ALLIANCE program. My ABA season started out slow with a 57th place finish on the Chesapeake Bay. Followed by 47th and 32nd place finishes on the Potomac River. I ended the regular season for ABA with a 28th place finish on the Chesapeake Bay. Not exactly the way I envision things going when I heard my season entry fees were going to be paid for but I still had some hope non the less. All of those finishes had somehow landed me in the TOP 25 for A.O.Y point standings and helped me qualify to fish the area championship on Hudson River were I came in 8th place.
