The Baltimore Boat Show is back in town for 2017!

I had the good fortune to visit the show last year (2016) after being ask to help promote the show by it's promotion department.

After a few laps around the shows floor plan, I could not help but notice a big void with bass boats that were on display. For many years I went to the Bass Expo held at Timonium Fairgrounds and I remember the anticipation and excitement of buying new freshwater bass fishing baits (Largemouth  / Smallmouth) and drooling over all the new bass fishing boats on display every year.

That same excitement and anticipation was missing before my visit to the Baltimore Boat Show in 2016. Why? Because I knew going in that the Baltimore Boat Show was slanted to the saltwater fishing and saltwater boating crowd.

Needless to say, I left the Baltimore Boat Show last year with an itch that I could not scratch. Familiar bass boat names were missing as I walked around the Baltimore Boat Show last year. Boating names like Ranger Boats, Skeeter Boats, Champion Boats, Winner Boats, Stratos Boats and a few others. Most of these boat companies are still in business today, several new bass boat companies have been created as well but why weren't they here on display at the Baltimore Boat Show in 2016? I wondered?? Am I the only one that noticed the lack of largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing tackle available at the Baltimore Boat Show in 2016???

Then it hit me!?!?! I can't be the only bass angler in Maryland that gets upset when boat shows from other states all have the latest bass boats and bass fishing tackle I want to see on display each year in Maryland. The question has since become, do my bass fishing fans and I have enough pull with the Baltimore Boat Show promotion department to help influence their selection of bass boat manufactures that come to Maryland's longest running boat show? This my bass fishing friends is where you come in!

If you have every found yourself complaining about the lack of bass boats or bass fishing tackle ( Largemouth / Smallmouth) at the Baltimore Boat Show? Or the lack of bass boats on display in the state of Maryland in general?? Please chime in on your favorite bass boat brands post below. Each post has been tagged so that the boat brand and the boat show can read your feedback.
